Fruit Morphology of Durio zibethinus L. in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia

Background: Jelebu is one of Negeri Sembilan districts Malaysia, famous for its wide variety D. zibethinus. It also recognized as the top hotspot area consumers looking genuine Durian Kampung. This study aimed at discovering and recording significant morphological data in identification classification zibethinus fruit Jelebu. Methods: Fifty-three accessions durian were observed from January 2020 to September accordance with Malaysia’s Department Agriculture guidelines. Result: Forty-one parameters compiled divided into two primary sets: external internal structures. Size, shape, color aril characteristics fruits several engrossing identifying classifying varieties. Fruit weight varies between 665 g 2.7 kg, depending on size. The results revealed six different variants shape color. Aril included a thickness ranging 0.23 cm 1.17 cm. Therefore, this research that valuable recognizing categorizing variants.
